You Are Not Alone; There are Always Others To Help.

“You don’t have to be a ‘person of influence’ to be influential. In fact, the most influential people in my life are not even aware of the things that they’ve taught me”

Scott Adams (cartoonist, creator of Dilbert)

You Will Never Be Forgotten

Walking through life isn’t just where you go and what you do. It is so much more than that.

The journey takes unexpected twists and turns that we have to deal with and whilst most of these obstacles can be overcome with minimal fuss, there will always be those that need further contemplation. Sometimes you need to ask for help.

Some may choose to seek advice from a higher power or religious entity. Others may turn to literature or science to find the answers, whilst comfort can always be found in the lyrics of a favorite song.

Or you can just ask another human being.

That is the beauty of being able to communicate with a tangible object, it gives you answers and helps you make the decisions that will continue your journey.

It can be something as simple as choosing the right couch for your apartment or making sure that you don’t fail your driving test. A human being gives perspective gained through their own experiences and whilst they may not agree with you all the time, their influence can lead you to consider your own views.

The ripples of life caused by another person’s influence can’t be measured, there is no standard chart to rate the importance of who you choose to interact with in your life. The only certainty is that in the course of our time on this mortal coil, we will interact with thousands of other human beings as they continue with their own path and to their ultimate destination.

Each tiny piece of human contact is another part of the puzzle, each and every shared experience with other people forms part of our own library of thoughts and emotions.

Influence is something that we have access to on a daily basis, we will not realize how it will affect us but it should never be ignored.

Embrace it, the journey is so much better with others by your side.
